We also have a range of gorgeous pillow cases available to perfectly fit your ClevaFoam Baby Pillow.
The asthma & allergy friendly® Certification relates to trigger factors of asthma and allergy only. Certified Products are tested for the presence of allergenic and irritant chemicals, the capacity for fabrics to act as an allergen barrier, the ability to withstand frequency of washing, and the extent to which allergen build-up can be removed by washing. Allergy Standards and the Certification do not relate to or advise on safety of use or method of use.
A little bit about Flat Head Syndrome (Plagiocephaly):
It is medically advised that babies are placed on their back while they sleep as this is the safest position for them. However, this position can create pressure on the back of their head and so Flat Head Syndrome may become an issue. Young babies, when they rest, can have a side which they prefer to sleep on. This means that natural pressure can be focused on one side of their head.
Here are some simple ways to help manage this:
Reposition your baby's head while they are sleeping, so that sometimes they face left and sometimes they face right. So very gently you are switching the side they face when they go down to sleep.
When your baby is ready, start practicing Tummy Time with them as this helps strengthen their shoulder and neck muscles for better control of their head.
